JOB OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE
Manages and coordinates all activities and all related functions for Packaging/Labeling, Inventory Control, Returns, Quarantine Inventory and Shipping at the Edison facility. Facilitates the quality assurance of human tissue as designated by SOPs and GMPs in accordance with AATB, FDA, TGA and ISO standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for over $100MM material and more than 90,000 units of inventory, in various stages of WIP, quarantine and finished goods.
2. Responsible for Budget for personnel, supplies, training and activites.
2. Trains, guides, coordinates and supports all personnel, in subordinate departments, in their daily activities in a hazardous material environment.
3. Responsible for the accuracy of quarantine and finished goods tissue and devices in the Edison facility.
4. Ensures proper handling and documentation of all biohazard waste in accordance with FDA standards.
5. Assure that storage, labeling and work procedures maintain tissue to meet the standards of the TGA.
6. Works in and promotes safety in a hazardous material environment, including liquid nitrogen storage.
7. Coordinates and controls corporate quarterly physical inventories on finished goods and quarantine tissue and devices. Corrects related discrepancies.
8. Supports the needs of MTF-West and all outside distributors.
9. Interacts with the Customer Service and Inside Marketing Departments.
10. Helps to troubleshoot and correct QAD mistakes and problems related to Inventory operations.
11. Creates, amends and assists with all SOP and WI documents, forms and training records for related functional areas.
12. Reviews all regulating documents on an annual basis.
13. Creates, assists with all subordinate department personnel evaluations and disciplinary actions.
14. Monitors and manages freezer space for finished goods, quarantine, WIP, and rejected materials.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Minimum 4 years college degree or 4 years equivalent work experience. Any life science/medical background a plus.
Experience:
Minimum three years inventory management experience with minimum one-year experience in each reporting functional area. Experience in a regulated work environment with GMPs and SOPs. 5 yrs experience in Inventory Control and ERP environment is preferred
Specific Licenses and/or Certifications:
Preferred certifications are CTBS; APICS; Six Sigma
Specialized Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities :
Proficient in a range of PC applications, including ERP software. Excellent investigative skills. Excellent organization skills, ability to delegate and good time management abilities.
Work Environment:
Previous experience and safety training in a hazardous material environment.
Physical Demands:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
