Plastic thermoforming operation seeks engineer with leadership experience to lead projects involving tooling, fixture, and part design for heavy gauge thermoforming processes.
Shall:
Work closely with customers from concept through manufacture to develop and manufacture quality products.
Monitor, measure and report manufacturing performance and develop new techniques to reduce losses and improve quality.
Recommend and implements changes to products or processes.
Perform quality audits and recommending corrective actions.
Promote Lean principles and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Create programs and methods to optimize production capability and reduce cycle time, improve manufacturing efficiency and overall productivity.
Collaborate on product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
Requirements:
Hands-on ability with 3D CAD software.
BS degree in Engineering or similar.
Solid knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
