IT Procurement Manager

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vendor Management
Works with internal Global R&D IT group and vendors at all stages of the procurement life cycle
Vendor performance management and issue resolutions
Vendor Research & Evaluation, including due diligence and risk reviews
Develops scorecards
Category Management
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of assigned commodity and stakeholder business needs.
Develops and implements strategies including requirements gathering and supplier identification; leads efforts of rationalization and optimization; conducts supplier research and provides information to stakeholders.
Program Management-Responsible for procurement program management
Research & Analysis- Conducts financial, business analysis and due diligence analysis for category and suppliers; presents results to a wide range of audiences
RFP Management: Leads and conducts cross-functional RFP teams from requirements gathering to program/contract implementation
Contract Management:
Participates in complex contract management; leads negotiations of terms and conditions; creates negotiation platforms and strategies
Audits contracts for price and term compliance
Develops and implements standards, processes, and procedures related to procurement of categories and services as they relate to CLIENT business practices.
Continuously evaluate purchasing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 10 years experience in a Strategic Sourcing IT Category Management
Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
A Bachelors degree in Business Administration; MBA preferred
Demonstrated experience in IT vendor management
Deep knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions
Exceptional written, verbal, negotiation planning skills
Superb critical analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills in a matrixed organization
Mature interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact with diverse audiences
Ability to be creative and develop out-of-the box solutions
Ability to analyze, evaluate and present complex results to varied audiences

Required Experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
