One of our technology clients is seeking a DevOps Engineer to assist in supporting our mission-critical infrastructure and SaaS services on the AWS public cloud. As part of the team, you will work on test and production environments, perform monitoring, review configuration management, as well as participate in releases, maintenance, and on-call responsibilities. This position requires an individual who is an accomplished engineer with experience in engineering and public clouds, supporting large-scale distributed systems & technologies, where uptime and continuous availability are core to the business.
Responsibilities:
Participate in supporting our global AWS infrastructure, deployments of new features, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting application or service issues Instasll and Configure and maintain Windows, Linux, AWS including the site recovery Manager (SRM)systems ensuring optimal performance, security, and high availability. Administration and management of Linux systems, and AWS services such as Aurora MySQL, DynamoDB, S3, LBs, ElastiCache, ECS Create network connectivity diagrams and work with Engineering teams to define and document network standards and architecture Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly and effectively. Experience:
3 years plus experience in a hands-on Windows O365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Public Cloud Services (AWS) 3 years plus experience working in an AWS environment with S3, EC2, Cloudwatch, VPC, ELB/ALB, Route53 and RDS Familiarity with Infrastructure security best practices and frameworks Experience with ITIL SO, SOC2, or PCI compliance networking & security standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Recommended Skills Active Directory Group Administration Amazon Elasti Cache Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Vpc) Architecture Apply to this job. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
