FLORA10163 Showing 1 location Job Details Description Vaseful Flowers and Gifts is a full-service flower shop that can deliver anywhere in the US, while also providing training and employment for people with disabilities.
We are seeking a Part-Time Floral Designer to work out of our Edison, NJ location! This role will work approximately 20 hours per week.
The pay-rate is $17 per hour.
Job
Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the flower shop.
Inspect floral arrangements for damages and report any issues to the florist.
Unpack floral freight deliveries and organize flowers in the workroom or cooler.
Create a basic flower arrangement and cut flower bouquets.
Confer with clients regarding price and type of arrangement desired and the date, time, and place of delivery.
Price and sell merchandise.
Maintain cleanliness of establishment.
Stock and organize goods.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
Valid Driver's License.
Experience with flower design.
Basic flower knowledge and design.
Basic working knowledge of computers.
Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and courteously with customers and staff.
Working Conditions:
Expect constant bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
Ability to work non-traditional hours-- weekends, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
