As our most highly visible employee, you will get to greet all of our clients and patients with a smile.
We'll also rely on your physical agility and strength to assist customers when they have carriers or pet food to pick up, and your leadership abilities to maintain order in the event of high-stress situations such as medical emergencies and appointment delays.
What You'll Do:
Greet clients and their beloved fur family members Efficiently manage wait times Upholds the hospital's core values among both clients and your team members Building strong relationships with both your community and team members Quickly addresses and resolves any client-related issues and concerns Advocates for not only the patient but the best interest of the client.
Assures the front desk is covered adequately, clean, and managed at all times.
Helps in the training of new hires while monitoring any inconsistencies that may violate the practice's core values.
Basic requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; 2 or more years of college preferred Professional appearance Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; fluently speaking and reading a second language is an asset Specific Job
Qualifications:
Answering incoming customer inquiries The desire to collaborate with the leadership team in regards to staying updated on new products, services, protocols, and processes.
Proper record keeping with client information both on paper and among our practice management software.
Engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns with a genuine sense of resolving their immediate concerns.
Direct communication amongst team members whether it be positive or constructive feedback.
What we are looking for:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to exercise good judgment, and adaptability to resolve conflicts with grace in an empathetic manner.
Emotional intelligence and accountabiliy Caring happens regardless of our customers' dispositions or challenges.
There will be moments where you are expected to remain calm and positive even when our customers are not.
Experience in customer service, hospitality, food service, the aviation industry, social service, healthcare/medical positions would be ideal.

The schedule:
23-28 hrs for part-time and 32-40 hrs a week for full-time.
Flexibility is a must! Occasionally you may be asked to cover an open shift at one of our clinics.
They are approx.
10 minutes from the main hospital.
Morning shifts begin at 7:
30 am, second shift begins at 11 am.
The part-time shift begins at 3 pm.
Shifts include Saturday.
These hours can and may change based on your supervisor and overall hospital needs.
Reliable, punctual attendance is critical.
