Job Description:
Our company is seeking to hire a warehouse employee that involves Picking, Packing and sporadic light unloading of shipments.
This position carries future potential to upgrade to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
Part of the job description includes maintaining warehouse cleanliness, replenishment of products and organization of merchandise within the warehouse.
This position provides plenty of future growth and opportunity as we continue to grow, thrive and expand within the distribution and E-commerce market within the pet channel This position does not require use of any Forklift machinery.

com Responsibilities Ensure the Receiving Area and Loading Docks are always kept clean and properly maintained.
Making sure all isles remain clear of loose inventory or cartons.
Making sure any and all empty cartons are properly cut, folded and stored for future use or recycling.
Organizing and Preparing Pick Tickets and Shipping Labels Picking and Packing of orders if / when necessary Properly Receiving Inventory in our system and properly positioning inventory through our scanning software and grouping of inventory.
Making sure all inventory is immediately replenished when out of stock.
Ensuring any and all Returns received are either put back in stock or placed in a separate location for disposal.
Communicate job expectations and coach employees Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices Skills Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor Have the ability to speak English (Spanish, while not required would be beneficial) Must be great at identifying issues and problem solving.
Someone who has the ability to properly move inventory within our inventory software system.
Must have great organizational skills and be able to move quickly Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done whether it be Picking or Packing orders in situations where short staffing is an issue and initially during the initial training phase.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong time management skills Physically capable of carrying merchandise and unloading and loading of shipments People skills, empowering others to get work done and believing in one another.
Proper Team Skill-set is the most important foundation for this job.
