Manager, Program (Global TPM Operations)

Description The Manager is responsible for managing customer service, quality and cost in respect to products supplied from 3rd party manufacturers. The Manager will lead the selection and ongoing operations of contract manufacturing and packaging operations in North America. This position will assume the role of primary point of contact for the Revlon Supply Chain organization with third party manufacturing and packaging. They will lead the interface process between Revlon and third party manufacturing (TPM) sites. Thy will lead and manage all aspects of commercial and manufacturing operations within the assigned sites, including product supply logistics, capacity/planning, capabilities assessment, inventory control, purchasing, quality services, cost control and negotiations, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all and negotiate all commercial aspects at the TPM (Pricing, Contracts, Extraordinary expenses) Identify qualified sources of supply and manufacturing sites based on product requirements and marketing strategies Open order management of all open POs with third party manufacturer Lead weekly comprehensive site reviews Serve as project manager for key strategic TPM initiatives to ensure projects completed on time and on budget with no interruption of service Participate in bidding process for new product launches to deliver innovation on time and on budget. Lead key Revlon programs and site development Ensure the achievement of specified performance metrics (e.g. Unit Fill Rate and Plan Attainment, on-time new product launches, cost targets, inventory targets and GMP and Revlon SOP conformance) by TPM Develop supply market knowledge within key processing technologies to enable rapid benchmarking and accelerated selection of alternative contract sites Conduct on-going analysis of total end-to-end costs of supply Propose and manage implementation of cost improvements Develop plans and implement actions to reduce lead-times and manage inventory levels at contract sites Develop and lead contingency plans in case of performance failure Review on-going capacity analysis of contract sites Supervise the efficient implementation of VIP/product/process changes at TPM sites Ensure contract site personnel are instructed on Revlon's operational, quality and regulatory requirements and make sure all deficiencies are addressed Represent the TPM organization in New Product Launch meetings Education:
Bachelor's degree preferably in a technical or Science discipline; MBA a plus Skills / Competencies:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing relationships with external manufacturers and making cost improvements A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement and/or Finance is required At least 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment is required The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience Experience in making financial assessments of projects and/or providing recommendations is a requirement Strong systems skills required:
proficient in MRP, ERP, and Excel Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training and/or Certification is preferred Project Management experience is required. Project Management Professional and APICS Certifications are also preferred The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, facilitating, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a matrix organization Experience working for a Consumer Products company; health and beauty industry is preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
